Senior journalist Sandeep Dixit was elected president of the Delhi unit of Senior Journalists Forum

New Delhi: Sandip Dikshit, who was a senior journalist with The Hindu and The Tribune, was elected President of the Delhi unit of the Senior Journalists Forum (SJF) at a meeting of senior journalists in the capital city, held at Kerala House today.

George Kallivayalil (Deepika) was elected secretary of the Delhi unit. Other office bearers are Ms. Aditi Nigam (vice president) , P G Unnikrishnan (joint Secretary), and P Sundara Rajan (treasurer). 

The meeting was presided over by Sandip Dikshit. It was addressed by Anandam Pulipalupula (Hyderabad), Benudhar Panda (Odisha), Paramanand Pandey, Gopal Misra, Kushal Jeena, R Prasannan, N Asokan, Joseph Maliyekkal, P M Narayanan, Rima Sharmah, M K Ajithkumar and others.

KP Vijayakumar, SJFK general Secretary, welcomed the gathering. N P Chekkutty, national coordinator, presented an organisational report.
 George Kallivayalil proposed a vote of thanks.
